TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. Prices are subject to change, please check website regularly for up-to-date price list.

2. Services must be pre-booked through our booking page: SEC Bookings. No walk-ins accepted without a confirmed booking. Please ensure ironing/washing is ready for collection at the agreed time, otherwise you may miss us, and therefore miss your service.
Additional delivery charges will be applied for multiple attempts to pick-up/deliver.

​3. 24hrs expected turn-around for washing & ironing services. May take up to 48hrs if air-dried.
Bookings made for a Friday pickup will be delivered the following Monday.

4. Occasionally we will be unable to complete a Regular or Subscription service due to staff holidays, illness, or public holidays. We will notify you of any changes to your service in advance, and endeavour to arrange an alternative day whenever possible, however this cannot always be guaranteed.

5.  We offer FREE pickup/delivery to West Wallsend, $10 to Seahampton, Holmesville, Barnsley, and Cameron Park, and $15 for all other areas within 10km radius. *Delivery fee will be charged for all stand-alone Folding Services - Minimum $15 service charge for all other services.
$15 delivery fee will be charge for Ironing Services of 5 items or less.
For any "out of zone" deliveries a $30 delivery fee will be applied.

6. We reserve the right to charge a Non-Cancellation Fee of $15 when a client does not have items ready for collection at the agreed time and/or fails to notify us of any change to their service, no later than 2 hours prior to scheduled pickup time. Should the client request a second pickup to be scheduled due to the above - there will be an additional delivery fee applied.

7. Invoices will be sent via email, and payment is required on, or prior-to delivery. All accounts must be settled within 7 days of service. Overdue accounts will be forwarded on to our debt-collection service, where additional fees will be accrued to cover the cost of recovery. We accept Cash, Bank Deposit, Credit Card, or PayPal. A 15% surcharge will apply to all services that occur during a Long Weekend or Public Holiday.

8. For NDIS clients, prices will vary, as we will charge the recommended hourly rate, as per the current
NDIS Price Guide.
​Please contact us if you would like an estimate prior to booking your service.  

9. We will not guarantee or refund ironing of clothing that has been put through a dryer. In cases of heavy-set creasing, we may advise you, prior to commencing your service, and recommend adding a pre-iron rinse to the service. This is generally an effective method, however we cannot guarantee that some faint creasing may still be present on some items (additional 48hrs expected for drying). We accept no liability for any discolouration, shrinkage, or damage to your items, caused by the use of our washing machine and/or dryer.

10. If coat hangers are not provided with ironing, items will be folded with care. For regular services, where hangers are not provided - hangers will be included at 20c each. These may be returned with your next service for a credit of 20c p/returned hanger - Or you may keep them.

11. Any damage to items from an ironing service, inadvertently caused by us, will be covered at our expense, at a cost of $10 per used clothing item or $30 per brand new item.

12. For Washing services, we run a cold-wash on clothing items, and a warm-wash on linen & towelling, with a mild spin cycle. Upon request, items are separated into appropriate groups (lights, colours, darks, towelling). We do not offer stain-removal treatments, however we do offer an in-wash 1hr soak/boost for heavily soiled items. We use a standard Detergent and Fabric Softener in all washes, unless otherwise requested. For in-wash boost, we use Vanish Gold. Sensitive Detergent and Sensitive Softener are optional, for an additional fee. It is up to the client to advise us of allergies, or if sensitive detergent/softener is required.

13. Linen Subscription services will be collected and delivered on the same day/s each week or fortnight.
When agreeing to a subscription service, you must provide a valid credit card or bank account for automated payment deductions. This is done securely, and we will never see your card/account details (only the last four digits are visible to us). 
If we are unable to provide your service on a scheduled day, or if you need to skip a service, you will not be charged for that week. You will only be charged for services provided.
​The cost of your service will be the same each time - no surprise charges.
Delivery charges will be added to subscription fee if pick-up/delivery is requested.
Additional charges for sensitive detergent/softener, and/or in-wash boost will be added to subscription fee if requested.

14. Client may choose to Tumble-Dry (24hrs) or Line-Dry (48hrs - all linen will be tumble-dried), if not specified, all linen is Tumble-Dried & most clothing is Air-Dried indoors on coat hangers. We accept no liability for any discolouration, shrinkage, or damage to items, caused by the detergent (including in-wash boosters), softener, washing machine, or dryer used.

15. We endeavour to check all pockets thoroughly prior to washing, but will not be held liable for any damage caused by pens, or other loose items left in pockets. Any items found in pockets will be returned to you in a zip-lock bag. All clothing/linen that has been washed & dried will be folded with care.

16. If we are not comfortable washing any items due to concerns of damage, or if they are too large for our machines, it will be returned to you in a separate bag, so you know it has not been washed.

17. When booking your service, you agree to the above terms of service.

18. For all regular services, customers are required to register their bank/credit card details for automated invoice payments, prior to receiving their booking confirmation. All details are held securely, and we will only view the last four digits. Invoices will be emailed and payment will be debited within 24hrs of issue. *Please note: Your service will not​ be confirmed until your payment details are received.

​19. If you wish to discuss your service or feel something is missing, please contact us within 24hrs of your completed service.
